The service

The Cert Vet provides Animal Health Certificates (AHCs) for dogs, cats and ferrets travelling from Great Britain to the EU and Northern Ireland, issued by an RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon authorised by APHA as an Official Veterinarian.

Bookings and payment

Appointments are booked online and paid in advance by card via Stripe. The price covers the appointment and certificate issue for the number of pets selected at booking.

Cancellations and refunds

[EDIT TO YOUR POLICY — suggested:] Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours, we offer one free reschedule; no-shows are non-refundable. If we must cancel, you receive a full refund or priority rebooking.

Your responsibilities

An AHC can only be issued if your pet meets the legal requirements (valid microchip, in-date rabies vaccination given after microchipping, first vaccination at least 21 days before travel). If requirements are not met at the appointment, the certificate cannot legally be issued. [EDIT: state your policy for this case — e.g. partial refund minus consultation fee.]

Liability

We take every care to issue certificates accurately. We are not responsible for changes to entry rules made by destination countries after issue, or for decisions made by border officials.
