Who we are

The Cert Vet ("we", "us") provides Animal Health Certificate services. Contact: hello@thecertvet.co.uk. [ADD: trading name, business address, ICO registration if applicable.]

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number and appointment time, collected via our booking provider (Cal.com).
• Payment details: processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Pet and travel details: microchip number, vaccination history and travel dates — required by law to issue an Animal Health Certificate.
• Waitlist emails: if you join our waitlist, we store your email to notify you when booking opens.

Why we collect it

To provide veterinary certification services, meet our legal obligations as an APHA-authorised Official Veterinarian (certificate records must be retained), take payment, and communicate about your appointment.

Who we share it with

Cal.com (booking), Stripe (payments), and the Animal and Plant Health Agency where required by certification rules. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Certificate records are kept for the period required by APHA/RCVS rules. Waitlist emails are deleted on request or once no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email hello@thecertvet.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.
